Check out Jon and I on her blog today.

We’ve really enjoyed out first year of marriage in our loft. We made a lot of great memories and really feel blown away about how lucky we were to have such a rad place for our first place together. Head on over to Design Sponge today to see a tour of it today.
Here’s a few of my favorites that didn’t make the cut

Last week my I attended the smashbox/people style watch event. It was fun mingling and meeting lots of colorful people. We drank cocktails, got made up then photographed by the great Davis Factor and lots of goodies to take home.

Every where I look right now all the talk is about this new miracle working make up called BB cream which primes, perfects, hydrates, protects and controls oil. I’ve been a long time fan of the smashbox photofinish primer so was eager to try their BB cream.

I have very red damaged skin and so coverage is very important to me. I was pretty convinced this miracle creme wouldn’t cover all my mess of a skin. I’m pleased to say, I’ve been using it for the past week and have been pleasantly surprised. It smooths out my complexion with just one coat. It smells light and refreshing and feels like you wearing nearly nothing. I still brush a bit of bronzer on my cheeks but it seems to be doing the trick to fill in my pores and even out my skin tone. I encourage you to give it a try!

Today the WoodSmithe business cards I designed are featured over at underconsideration for print only. It is by far my favorite print blog, so if you haven’t had a chance to yet, please surf on over today!

Wolfum is a textile line of tabletop and home goods. Annabel incorporate traditional items- napkins, coasters, pillows- into the contemporary home with a nod to vintage, and a respect for modernity, eco-kindness and functionality. Wolfum features elegant and bold product that they hope will grow with the well curated home.
Refueled Magazine is a passion project of curator and editor Chris Brown. Over the past year Chris and I have become virtual friends and we recently got to collaborate on the current issue featuring Stephen Kenn & Nathanael Balon. I love getting to jump back and forth between mediums so obviously it was a blast to shoot it. Be sure to check out the digital copy for free.

Happy New Year!

As previously stated, 2012 was the best year of my life. I’m very grateful for the year of honeymoon bliss and have decided to claim 2013 to be even better!
So to start it off right and honor of pantone’s recent color announcement here’s a free Emerald green desktop wall paper just for you.

We started off 2012 in the best way possible- Jon asked me to marry him at Green Sands Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii.

For our honeymoon we headed up the coast to Big Sur/Carmel. We got to relax, read books in the redwoods, went horseback riding, enjoyed the coast, and ate amazing food!

Finding a spot in LA can be hard, and we can’t believe how lucky we were to get our loft! We still wake up in the morning and shake our heads. Our landlord is amazing and kind. We never thought we’d write that sentence. We instantly felt that we needed to share our home to everyone. We’ve enjoyed hosting community groups, movie nights, and countless friends for dinner, cocktails, and a place to crash for the night.

I became an aunt! Along with Chris and Larissa we welcomed Zinaeda into the world! Not only did we gain a niece, but we also gained a nephew! Elliot was born this fall to Jon’s sister and brother-in-law adding the third cub to the BobKat pride.

And most recently we just got back from vacation in Hawaii. What a great year.
